Pray Diem is a daily prayer app. You can use the whole daily practice without an account. This policy explains the little that is collected when you choose to sign in.
If you never sign in, nothing about you leaves your phone. Your prayer streak and the days you have prayed are stored only on your device. The app downloads each day's verse and prompt from our server, which is a read. It sends nothing about you.
Signing in is only needed for prayer circles. It collects:

| Display name | Shown to the other members of your circles, including on the prayer requests you send. You choose it, and you can change or clear it at any time. |

| Prayer requests you send | Shown, with your display name, to the members of the circle you sent them to, and to nobody else. |
| The days you prayed | So your streak survives reinstalling the app or changing phones. Only you can see these. |
| Notification token | To send you a notification when someone in your circle asks for prayer. Removed when you sign out or turn notifications off. |
Prayer requests and member names are visible only to people in the same circle, which is invite-only. Your streak and the days you prayed are private to you. Circle members cannot see them. Access is enforced on the server, per row, per account.
No advertising. No analytics or tracking SDKs. No tracking you across other apps or websites. Your information is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.
The app's backend is hosted on Supabase, which stores this data on our behalf. Notifications are delivered through Apple's Push Notification service. Sign in with Apple is operated by Apple.
Open the Account tab and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, your name, your prayer requests, and your saved streak. A circle you started passes to whoever joined it first, or is deleted if you were the only member. Prayer requests are removed automatically 24 hours after they are sent, whether or not you delete your account.
Pray Diem is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If this policy changes materially, the date above will change and the new version will be posted here.
